Lebkuchen (German gingerbread) LONDON



I baked lebkuchen for my presentation
(Lebkuchen - gingerbread especially popular for Christmas season in Germany)
The texture was harder than I expected :( I just followed the recipe though
I think I should have put baking soda...etc

But the taste was fine.

flour
egg
sugar
honey
molasses (당밀)
cinnamon powder
all spice powder
clove powder
nutmeg powder
nuts

icing sugar (confectioners sugar)
lemon
water

    its probably hard because you didn't put in any leavener (such as baking soda or baking powder) that could lift the bread- but it looks great on the outside

    베이킹은 젬병이라 ㅠ.ㅠ 잘못된 레시피인지도 모르고 했는데 생각해보니 baking powder를 안넣었더라구요 :( 실수하고 배우는거지요!
